Hi. I’m Sreevani, an Integrative OBGYN based in Hyderabad, with more than eight years of clinical experience in women’s reproductive health. I hold an MBBS and a postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and I went on to complete a Fellowship in Infertility in association with KIMS Hospital. I am registered with the Telangana Medical Council. My practice takes an integrative approach, looking at hormonal health alongside nutrition, metabolism, sleep, and stress. Much of my work centres on PCOS — how it shapes the menstrual cycle and ovulation, and how factors like insulin resistance often sit underneath the symptoms women notice first.

Dr. Sreevani Karnav is an Obstetrician-Gynaecologist based in Hyderabad with more than eight years of clinical experience in women’s reproductive health. Her medical training began at Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences, followed by postgraduate specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences — both affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. A subsequent Fellowship in Infertility, completed in association with KIMS Hospital, moved her clinical attention toward conception difficulty and the hormonal and metabolic factors underlying it. She practises in Telangana under registration with the state medical council. Her practice sits at the meeting point of gynaecology and integrative medicine, spanning irregular cycles, ovulation disorders, PCOS, and preconception care. Over her career, she has worked with more than 3,000 women, a significant proportion of whom are managing PCOS while planning a pregnancy.
Dr. Sreevani’’s approach is built around the factors that contribute to hormonal imbalance, rather than symptom management alone. Her structured PCOS and fertility programme brings together personalised nutrition, guided physical activity, gut health, circadian rhythm and sleep, emotional wellbeing, and reducing everyday exposure to hormone-disrupting substances.
The reasoning is clinical: insulin resistance, chronic stress, disrupted sleep, and inflammation all influence ovulation, so working on them can support more regular cycles and better metabolic health. Where medical management or assisted reproduction is clinically indicated, this work is designed to sit alongside conventional care rather than replace it.
